Day One: Hand-Tied Bouquets, Buttonholes and Corsages.

Over the two days, you will learn and develop skills to create beautiful and natural hand-tied bouquet arrangements. Creating effortlessly elegant bouquets is an art that you can achieve. You will learn how to create this style of bouquet a bridal bouquet, carefully selecting flowers and foliage to give the desired effect.

There are some areas of floristry that are impossible to do without wire. We will teach you the basic skills and techniques where you will create beautiful buttonholes and corsages and learn new skills to help you to stand out from the crowd. We unravel the terminology and the array of wires, weights, and lengths. Learn when and what flowers need some extra help whilst using them in your design.

Day Two: Elegant Table Styling.

You will demonstrate the art of table styling, from simple bud vases to large candelabra designs. During this part of the course, you will, with other students create your own table decoration. We will discuss table design options for different venues. Tall or low arrangements, floating candle in vases, collections of small crystal vases with flowers which will create impact for any venue.

Tea, coffee, along with a light lunch will be provided.
